Über diesen Titel

A gargantuan horseshoe-shaped ship appears over the mining planet Shānmén, unleashing a black rain of death that creates Xenomorph-like monsters worse than the darkest of nightmares.

As war breaks out among the colonies, a huge ship appears over the UPP mining planet Shānmén, releasing a horror that yields hideous transformations. Rescue is too far away, and the colonists’ only hope appears in the form of the vessel Righteous Fury. It carries the Jackals—an elite mix of former Colonial Marines and Royal Marines. Led by Zula Hendricks, the Jackals seek to rescue the few survivors from the depths of the planet, but have they arrived on time?

The story itself is "ok". Even if there is no real alien in it, it is a good idea and quite interesting.

What's annoying though is that you can clearly feel a strong LGBTQ agenda being pushed. Half the people are gay and in lesbian or gay relationships. Not that anyone asked, it just gets mentioned all the time. Then of course there is the mention of a transgender person, that has no value to the story other than to be mentioned one time. It's like someone wanted to be inclusive and diverse and all for the pure sake of it, regardless if it makes any sense to mention it or not. Pure virtue signaling and just annoying. They could all be gay for all I care but the constant mentioning of it is super obnoxius as it's not integrated in the story but really feels to be just agenda pushing..

The speaker is also not good, she has a weird way of pronouncing sentences and it takes like half the book to get used to it and not be annoyed.

Wokeness reaches the Alien Universe..

An Alien novel without a single xenomorph but a strong feminist agenda. Not my cup of tea.

No alien in it

The Story wouldnt be so bad if two third of the story telling wouldnt consist of self talk and daydreaming about motherly feelings and what not in the most unfitting moments.

Half the people only die because they are daydreaming.

In addition the sexual orientation of charakters is being explained all over the story without any true meaning for the story itself.
Most readers couldnt care less if the gunner shooting down an alien is heterosexual, gay, transsexual, or Asexual so why mention it all the time.

Way to Woke

Really liked the writing and performance here.
And no, despite what some reviews said, there's no "agenda" being pushed here. These are just people trying to survive.

Great Story!
