It's an absolute Milestone for basically all Halo lore. This book has laid the foundation for everything whats to come. That makes it an classic at this point. Even know everything is build on this book. Crazy right.

The only thing that kinda annoys me is the pronunciation of some words. It's not O N , it's Oni. Don't even get me started on Mjolnir. The book itself is amazing but the audio part leaves a bit to be desired if I am being honest.

I played all the games and always liked the story. the books are written pretty well for Sci fi. the narrator does an awesome job reading. I just find it hard to keep track which characters he is voicing (reading everything with the same voice) but outside of that I find this excellent
