Perfect if you like your Fantasy with some Horror Elements. It is a fast paced book with intriguing world building and some well written characters.

Great dark Fantasy

A fantastic reader takes you on a doomed quest alongside a band of heroes whose metal is tested time and again by a nightmarish world haunted by ancient gods and horrors. A well crafted world, characters and story.

The story is good, the characters are believable and likeable, even the antagonists are well written - though sometimes feel a little shallow as the book does not dabble too long when introducing a lot of characters - absolutely something you should listend to if you like darker fantasy.

Personally, I dislike the last act, it feels too quick and too easy for the setup the ending got - which leaves me a little bit unsatisfied.
The narrator is good, I just don't feel like his voice fits the theme perfectly. He also has the problem that his voice sounds very similar with different characters.

I'm definitely gonna listen to the next book in the Series!
