Journalist Angela Chen creates her path to understanding her own asexuality with the perspectives of a diverse group of asexual people. This is a great glimpse into the Ace / AroAce community and answers question many people in that community struggle with. What is romantic attraction? Is me being ace connected to my mental health or neurodivergency? Why is it hard to come out as ace? Why are people reacting the way they are? I read this book a while ago and I keep coming back and reading certain chapters and passages. I love this book!

This was so eye opening! As an ace myself, i often had questions about how romance and asexuality can work together, if i even deserve and can be in a happy healthy relationships. And the last part of this book helped me learn about myself so much!

A little long winded and contains lots of applied Intersectional and Queer Theory ideology. Terrible as an analytical work, as it is anecdotal and predominantly focused on 'lived experience'. Stories told within generally show the interestingly broad diversity in identities of some of the people counting themselves among (lgb)tq.
Only read/listen to this after doing proper research into this topic and the sources given, fact check and make up your own mind.
