This was the first time ever I had to increase the speed of an audio book. Otherwise it would have been unbearable.
I also had to rewind the story a few times as the story was not captivating enough at times and my mind drifted off.
One part towards the end of the story felt a bit „too much“, but anyways - I made it till the end.

Heart warming story, I love the way it is told. Also liked Emma Appleton‘s voice for this thoughtful story, it really suited the main character. I’ll definitely listen to/read more of Josie Silver‘s books, they are always kind of special.
