Dieses sehr interessante Buch gibt sehr viele Einblicke in naturwissenschafliche Zusammenhänge und ihre Deutung im historischen Zusammenhang. Ich fand dieses Buch sehr gut, obwohl man manchmal aufgrund der vielen Fakten den Faden verlieren kann. Diese Buch ist aber ansonsten auch für Laien verständlich, da ja auch Bill Bryson kein ausgebildeter Naturwissenschaftler oder Historiker ist. Er ist einfach interessiert und fasziniert von den Zusammenhängen im Mikro- und Makrokosmos und der Entdeckung dieser Zusammenhänge durch uns Menschen. Diese Buch ist uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert für alle neugierigen Zeitgenossen.

I went in to this book with low expectations since I study a science related subject and am already aware of the origins and applications of many concepts, but this book surprised me not only because of the beauty of the explanations and organisation, but also because of how wide the spectrum of topics is! It's not just physics or astronomy or biology, but all of it.
It truly is a short history of nearly everything!

Bill Bruton is a good author I read the book and it was amazing I suggest that you read the book first and then the audiobook

if you like bill bryson, this is a good recording. if you don't like his style, keep away. still better than most of his other books.
