Ich bin Anfang diesen Jahres auf Michael Pollan gestoßen (wie ich noch auf Audible.com war). Ich hab mir die Hörprobe von Botany of Desire angehört und gewusst, dass ich dieses Buch hören muss.
Seit dem hab ich seine restlichen Bücher gelesen und A Place of My Own ist das letzte Buch welches mir noch fehlt.
Wer Michael Pollan kennt, weiß das sein Hauptthema der Garten und Essen ist- in seinem 2. Buch jedoch (A Place of My Own) wollte er jedoch etwas anderes probieren und schreibt über seine Erfahrungen dabei eine kleine Gartenhütte zu bauen.
Es ist sehr angenehm zum hören und was mir sehr gefällt ist, dass er selbst es liest, was ich eigentlich recht gern bei Hörbüchern habe.
Es ist ein gutes Buch- jedoch, ungleich seinen anderen Büchern, kann ich bei diesem nicht wirklich sagen, dass ich etwas praktisches gelernt habe was ich in meinem Leben anwenden kann.
