Was mochten Sie nicht am Vortrag von Jennifer Ikeda?

Ich habe 'A Court of Mist and Fury' letztes Jahr gleich nach Erscheinen gelesen, und wollte das Hörbuch nun hören in Vorbereitung auf den 3. Teil der Serie, der im Mai 2017 rauskommt. Zum Glück kenne ich das Buch und habe mich in die Story und die Figuren verliebt, denn das Hörbuch hätte eher nicht diese Reaktion in mir hervorgerufen.

Ich fürchte, ich mag Jennifer Ikedas Stimme nicht, sie klingt zu kühl insgesamt. Und wenn sie Rhys(and) spricht, ist sie mir wiederum zu animiert und teilweise schrill. Ihn habe ich mir mit sehr tiefer und langsamer Stimme vorgestellt. Und da Rhys meine Lieblingsfigur der ganzen Reihe ist (und auch der Anziehungspunkt, dieses Buch nochmal lesen zu wollen), breche ich das Hörbuch nun nach einer Stunde ab und lese das Buch doch lieber selbst.

Großartig, besser als Teil 1, aber kühle Stimme

Der beste Teil der Serie, großartig gelesen von Jennifer Ikeda. Gut geschrieben mit sympathischen, komplexen Figuren und einer spannenden Geschichte bietet Sarah J. Maas hervorragende Unterhaltung.

Reading through ACOTAR was worth it, so that I could finally get to ACOMAF… the story so captivating and the missing puzzle parts from book 1 now put in place. Loved it, with so many facets and emotions and depth… a great love story...now in Part 2 absolutely genuine and unique. And I also liked the narrators voice, speaking both female and male parts.

Part2 of the series is a Great Book, Part 1 was just preparing for it

It's incredible what this (audio)book does to mind and soul. Intense, breathtaking and simultaneously heartbreaking and heartwarming. Beautifully read by Jennifer Ikeda and written remarkably charming, cunning and thrilling by Sarah Maas. Even better than the first book of the series.

This was one hell of a trip. I am lost for words. It got me good. It got me so good. The author knows what she is doing. There was no second book blues what so ever. It was just … amazing.

I prefer ACOMAF much over ACOTAR. I’m glad I gave the second book a chance at a friend’s request and I am about to start the third book of the series immediately after. The whole story looks promising and exciting now.
