Typisch Bourdain gibt es detailverliebte Geschichten aus verschiedenen Ecken der Welt. Bildhafte Beschreibungen von Orten, Menschen und Ereignissen. Er spricht über Drogen, Alkohol und Schlachten von Tieren, so wie über Menschen, Natur und das Essen. Seine Stimme fand ich schon immer angenehm. Sein Erzähltempo, passend zur den Geschichten, fand ich auch angenehm.
