The Feedback Loop

Quantum Hughes has been a gamer for most of his life. Trapped in an online world, he lives his days on repeat, fighting the same killer NPCs and playing out the same story line again and again. Then he receives a message from a mysterious woman named Frances Euphoria which sparks a humorous, action-packed adventure across multiple online fantasy worlds.

Quantum Hughes' life is stuck on repeat. While trapped in The Loop, a virtual entertainment dreamworld, he struggles to free himself from a glitch that forces him to re-live the same day over and over. Everything changes after Quantum receives a mysterious message from a woman named Frances Euphoria, the first human player he has made contact with in years. Once Frances appears, members of the Reapers, a murder guild, begin surfacing in The Loop, hoping to capture Quantum, or worse - kill him.

Instead of focusing on his recovery, Quantum Hughes takes an assignment alongside Frances Euphoria to an online world called Steam in search of a Proxima Developer. True to his nature, Quantum acts out of turn, causing the entire world to turn against him. This gives him two options: return to The Loop for help, or try and hold his own. There is also the problem of the Reapers, who have appeared in Steam ready to hunt him down, or worse, kill him. The real world, The Loop, and Steam - three places with their own rules, their own enemies.

Quantum Hughes and the Dream Team dive to Tritania, a JRPG fantasy Proxima World filled with dragons, orcs, floating continents, and magic. With the clock ticking, and his problems in the real world growing, including his legal troubles and his blossoming relationship with Frances Euphoria, Quantum is forced to make a decision that could change his life forever. Things heat up in Tritania as Quantum Hughes and the Dream Team continue their search for Strata Godsick's son both in the real world and the Proxima Galaxy. An attack in the real world throws a wrench into their plans, as does an event and a key decision that may change the team forever. Expect giants, expect dragons, expect Quantum being as maverick as ever, expect a few twists and surprises as the Dream Team's membership grows by one and Quantum is finally able to use his favorite Loop weapons in Tritania. 

Quantum Hughes and the rest of the Dream Team are in for a serious awakening when tragedy strikes the team. Finding Strata Godsick's son isn't as easy it they originally thought it would be, and real world repercussions seem to put a damper on everything they do. This on top of the fact that they're being hunted in both the Proxima Galaxy and the real world only raises the stakes even higher. Quantum makes a grave mistake which places him in a very a sticky situation. A scientific discover sends Aiden to a world he's only imagined, introducing a new angle to the series that shakes the foundation of both the digital and the real world. Doc and Rocket get into a bit of trouble, only to be rescued by the cavalry of Dream Team members and Tritania players. Strata Godsick's empire is on the verge of collapse after a familial betrayal and as the novel progresses, it becomes abundantly clear to all involved that revenge is a dish best served pixelated.
