• Stress Isn’t the Problem — Noise Is (And Your Nervous System Is Overloaded)
    Feb 6 2026

Stress is usually framed as something external—deadlines, relationships, money, or major life events. But what if stress isn’t just about what’s happening to you?

In this episode, I reframe stress as noise—the constant physical, emotional, and environmental inputs your nervous system has to process every day, often without you realizing it.

We talk about why so many people feel exhausted, disconnected, or overwhelmed even when life looks “fine,” and how modern culture keeps us stuck in a chronic stress response. I break down the autonomic nervous system in simple terms, explain why this isn’t a willpower problem, and explore how constant sympathetic activation has become the norm—not the exception.

I also discuss why movement and mindfulness are two of the most well-researched tools for both managing stress and preventing burnout—not as trends or moral obligations, but as ways to help the body cope with stress more appropriately.

This episode is part of Season 2’s focus on sleep, stress, and recovery as the foundation for health and wellness.

If you’re doing your best and still feel tired, this conversation is for you.

You don’t need more discipline. You need quieter inputs and better support.

  • The Problem Isn’t You: Why We Can’t Out-Discipline Burnout
    Jan 6 2026

We’ve been told that if we just try harder—eat better, train more, push through—we’ll finally feel okay.
But in a chronically stressed, sleep-deprived society, that message does more harm than good.

This episode marks the beginning of Season 2, where the focus shifts upstream—from discipline and optimization to stress, sleep, and recovery.

In this conversation, I share why burnout isn’t a personal failure, why willpower can’t override exhaustion, and why recovery deserves the same cultural importance we’ve given to diet and exercise. I also talk about the people I’m most interested in supporting this year—helpers, caregivers, creatives, and anyone holding a lot while running on empty.

If you’re doing your best and still feel tired, disconnected, or overwhelmed, this season is for you.
You don’t need more discipline. You need more support.

  • Episode 20: If It Were A Drug, It Would Already Be Approved
    Nov 11 2025

This episode started with an NPR story — and ended in a deep dive through research on exercise and nutrition prescriptions. I explored studies showing how movement and real food can literally change health outcomes, yet the system still says “more research is needed.”

We’ve known this since Hippocrates. Decades of data prove it — so why are we still waiting to act?

If this were a pharmaceutical drug, it would already be prescribed.
It’s time to rethink how we approach prevention, health education, and what “medicine” really means.

An unplanned, unfiltered episode — the kind that had to be recorded in the moment.

  • Episode 19: You Did That — Not the Diet
    Nov 7 2025

In this episode of The Human Conditioned Podcast, I share an update on Project 300 — I didn’t get picked, but I'm not backing down. The plan? Still run a Spartan Race and follow the challenge from the sidelines.

The main topic dives deep into how our sense of community — whether it’s tied to a diet, supplement, or workout program — quietly shapes our behavior. We explore how these social circles, shared identities, and compounding lifestyle changes create a ripple effect of positive change… but also how they can steal our sense of ownership when we start crediting the “thing” instead of ourselves.

This episode is a reminder: the program isn’t the magic — you are.

  • Episode 18: Why I Applied to Project 300 — and Why Transparency in Health Coaching Matters
    Oct 9 2025

In Episode 18 of The Human Conditioned Podcast, I share my thoughts on Project 300 put on by Spartan Race — an ambitious, large-scale health and performance study that’s redefining what transformation could look like. I talk about my own application process, why I felt drawn to it, and what I think this kind of project could mean for the future of health and wellness coaching.

Then, I dive into a topic that’s been weighing on me: the blurred lines between credentials, coaching, and transparency in the wellness industry. What are the implications of using a different type of credentialing or licensing as qualifications for health, wellness, or fitness coaching? And what does that mean for trust, ethics, and real client outcomes?

This episode isn’t about criticism — it’s about clarity, accountability, and raising the bar for what “qualified” really means in health and wellness. And maybe a little bit of my own attitude haha

    Sep 5 2025

In this episode, I share my vision for bridging that gap, the hard truth about manipulative ads in the $1 trillion wellness industry, and why chasing money isn’t the answer. Plus, I dive into my latest blog post on chronic stress — the invisible epidemic reshaping our bodies and lives.

  • Episode 16: Breaking Free from Chronic Illness: A Raw Conversation on Medicine, Wellness, and Taking Back Control
    Aug 1 2025

In this special, in-depth episode of The Human Conditioned Podcast, Kyri sits down with his first-ever guest—his mom—to have an honest, unfiltered conversation about living with chronic illness for over 20 years.

    Together, they discuss:

    • The struggles of navigating a reactive, profit-driven healthcare system

    • How lack of time, resources, and insurance hurdles strain patient care

    • The dark side of the health and wellness industry’s “How much is your health worth?” mentality

    • Complementary practices like aromatherapy and essential oils—how they can help when used ethically and responsibly

    • The importance of curiosity, accountability, and self-advocacy in health

    • The powerful connection between mental health, trauma, and chronic disease

    • How marketing and advertising prey on the vulnerable

    • A big question: “How would life have been different with access to a health coach 20 years ago?”

This is a candid, deeply personal look at what it really means to reclaim your health in a system that often leaves people feeling unseen and unheard.
