  • Stress Isn’t the Problem — Noise Is (And Your Nervous System Is Overloaded)
    Feb 6 2026

Stress is usually framed as something external—deadlines, relationships, money, or major life events. But what if stress isn’t just about what’s happening to you?

In this episode, I reframe stress as noise—the constant physical, emotional, and environmental inputs your nervous system has to process every day, often without you realizing it.

We talk about why so many people feel exhausted, disconnected, or overwhelmed even when life looks “fine,” and how modern culture keeps us stuck in a chronic stress response. I break down the autonomic nervous system in simple terms, explain why this isn’t a willpower problem, and explore how constant sympathetic activation has become the norm—not the exception.

I also discuss why movement and mindfulness are two of the most well-researched tools for both managing stress and preventing burnout—not as trends or moral obligations, but as ways to help the body cope with stress more appropriately.

This episode is part of Season 2’s focus on sleep, stress, and recovery as the foundation for health and wellness.

If you’re doing your best and still feel tired, this conversation is for you.

You don’t need more discipline. You need quieter inputs and better support.

  • The Problem Isn’t You: Why We Can’t Out-Discipline Burnout
    Jan 6 2026

We’ve been told that if we just try harder—eat better, train more, push through—we’ll finally feel okay.
But in a chronically stressed, sleep-deprived society, that message does more harm than good.

This episode marks the beginning of Season 2, where the focus shifts upstream—from discipline and optimization to stress, sleep, and recovery.

In this conversation, I share why burnout isn’t a personal failure, why willpower can’t override exhaustion, and why recovery deserves the same cultural importance we’ve given to diet and exercise. I also talk about the people I’m most interested in supporting this year—helpers, caregivers, creatives, and anyone holding a lot while running on empty.

If you’re doing your best and still feel tired, disconnected, or overwhelmed, this season is for you.
You don’t need more discipline. You need more support.
