I loved this so much!
Tried 2 Christmassy romance novels by Holly Martin before this and hated them thoroughly. Luckily I came across this. It was everything I love in a romance: sexy, banter-heavy, modern, featuring intelligent rounded complicated characters who develop throughout the story, and without any slutshaming, toxic coercive relationships etc.

AND it made me rewatch When Harry Met Sally... and realise what a great film it is indeed. :)

Overall it was a very well written book and getting to know and understand the characters was amazing. The bickering between the two main characters was fun but went on a little bit too long for my liking. The second half of the book was way better. Understanding the differences of the two and them dealing with challenges of evolving and loving each other („learning to love“ after failed past relationships) was the best thing about the story. I highly recommend! I would actually love to see this being made into a movie!

Really good over all, I prefer the second half :)
