Tried 2 Christmassy romance novels by Holly Martin before this and hated them thoroughly. Luckily I came across this. It was everything I love in a romance: sexy, banter-heavy, modern, featuring intelligent rounded complicated characters who develop throughout the story, and without any slutshaming, toxic coercive relationships etc.
AND it made me rewatch When Harry Met Sally... and realise what a great film it is indeed. :)
