I was a little skeptical, but this is by far my favorite book by Rachel Reid. The characters are so perfectly imperfect and human, with depth, good humor, and lots of love. You laugh and cry and feel everything together, also the narrator does an incredibly good job!

Rachel Reid knows how to write romance. If anyone doubts that, this book is the best counter-argument. It's sweet, romantic, sad, funny and just so good.

The performance of the narrator is also outstanding. Great Nova-Scotian accent (at least from what I can tell as a non-native) and he knows how to make the written words come to live.

I've been listening to this one several times now and each time I love it more.

Game Changers is great, but this is the Cherry on top!

Ich finde die Bücher der Autorin sind echt schön und erwecken in einem das Verlangen selbst sich zu verlieben. Aber die Geschichten sind was Sexualität angeht, sehr weit von der Realität entfernt. Alle Typen sind Vers und Sex kann überall und ohne Vorbereitung stattfinden. Hier würde ich mir wünschen, dass man realitätsnäher bleibt. Und bitte weniger Sexszenen😅
