I should probably add: gay AF, and has no filter. It’s no wonder my new landlord is so wary of me.

A smarter man would ignore those hot glances from the broody lumberjack. He may want more from me than another fresh-baked pretzel. But if I push my luck, I’ll end up back on the street.

Too bad I’ve never been smart with my heart....

I love how this author always gives life to her characters ❤.
To listen to the voice of Teddy Hamilton is always a pleasure, but now that I've listened to the gravelly, sexy voice of Stephen Dexter I'm a big fan of him too!

Sarina Bowen's books are the best!

Buch ist klassisch Sarina Bowen. Der Sprecher mit der tieferen Stimme hat den Tonfall von Roderick leider super nervig gesprochen. Sollte wohl extra Gay klingen?

A lovely story with relatable, heart-warming and nice characters. It's super well-written, had me teared up or laughing many times.
I only gave it 4 stars overall because the story is a bit underwhelming at times, and foreseeable and Sarina Bowen can do even better (like "HIM").

Still, I had a great time listening to it and can recommend the story whole-heartedly. There are few authors who write such good gay romance/erotic books.

Great new story

Overall I really liked the story and even laughed out loud a few times. Each character had their own little story/set of goals outside the obvious romance part, which I appreciated. Dialogs feels natural and so does most of the relationship and character developement.

Didn't dig the voice acting unfortunately. Kiran sometimes randomly changes from a raspy low voice to that one voice Stephen Dexter uses for almost every other character in this story. Teddy Hamilton does a bit better, but overall characters don't really have their own distinguishable voice. Intonation is fine though.
The last chapter is just one big ad for the sequel, which will probably follow a different couple/couple to be.
I did appreciate the lovely end credits though: Thanks, you have a wonderful day too!

Great written and narrated. Though I didn't know that it's the introduction of the Vino & Veritas series. Otherwise I would have listened to it previous to the complete V&V series...
