He never expected to see them again, especially considering Adam Milson was the heir to one of the most wealthy provinces but the next day he is called before all three of the members of Squad 42 and is offered the opportunity to try and wield Harry’s sword, Linsgarum. But Clark was a commoner, he couldn’t wield a sentient blade that burned any who were deemed unworthy, could he?

This book is apparently the "pilot episode" and introduces us to the main characters and the world. It took me a while to get the full picture, but I find the team dynamics and the living swords particularly exciting. The narrator is very versatile when it comes to the voices of the different characters, but in my opinion, he goes a little overboard in places. I'm very excited to see how the story continues and will move straight on to the next book.
