A real Fantasy World gem. What is civilized and what is barbaric is a matter of who is asking. I really like the two main characters and just love the narrators. Still, I think I am not intrigued enough to continue with the series. It will remain a great stand-alone title for me.

A very cute lovestory. I liked the cultural differences between Yuriels and the Nemedans, and especially how the different bird clans are described. Brett and Paris fit together very well, with Brett's patient understanding and Paris' subtle wisdom. All in a fun story, with a bit of tension and a lot of love. Looking forward to the next part in this series!
