Es wurde teilweise kritisiert, dass Prof. Simpson in dieser Geschichte keine so prominente Rolle spielt, wie in den anderen Teilen der Reihe. Ich finde Ravens schrittweise Emanzipation von Dr. Simpson in diesem Buch allerdings gut gelungen. Auch Ravens und Sarahs Geschichte wurde auf eine andere Ebene gebracht, ohne dass man sehr traurig über die Entwicklung sein müsste. Unsicher bin ich, was Sarah persönliche bzw. professionelle Entwicklung betrifft. Sie tritt in diesem Teil der Romanreihe trotz aller Mühen etwas auf der Stelle... Eventuell, um Stoff für weitere Fortsetzungen zu behalten? Ich hoffe es sehr. Spannend war die Geschichte auf jeden Fall. Selbst, wenn man ab und zu den richtigen Täter bereits in Verdacht hatte, gab es noch genug andere Rätsel und persönliche Verstrickungen zu erleben, auf deren Lösung man gerne hingearbeitet hat.

Ich mag Will Raven. Ich mag Sarah Fisher. Ich mag es nicht, dass das Buch ein offenes Ende hat, auch wenn wir hoffentlich Teil 5 kriegen.
Die Story läuft langsamer an, aber dann geht es Schlag auf Schlag.
Die Sprecher sind super!
