I enjoyed the story about d. But don’t expect some MasterClass story writing like many other fantasy books like lord of the rings. This is a Japanese light novel not a novel. So basically a manga without the pictures and more detailed. Id liked the world setting wich was some dark fantasy steam punk sci fi shit. Enjoyed it until the end. Im 20 years old so I just can speak for the younger people who are the target audience of light novels.

Really cool story in my opinion . But I’m an otaku so I can’t speak for everyone

Incessantly juvenile and cliche-laden. Don’t go in expecting a hidden gem, this is just a generic power fantasy. Sadly, the performance doesn’t elevate it either - very over the top and confused as if it was their first time reading the material. Who can blame them.
