Sehr schöne, wenn auch teils traurige Geschichte. Trifft genau meinen Erzählgeschmack. Das Englisch ist so schön deutlich gesprochen und wunderbar zu verstehen. Die Betonungen verhelfen der Geschichte zu Leben. Grandios gesprochen. Mein zweites Buch der Schriftstellerin und auf Englisch sehr viel schöner. Werde nur noch originale holen.

Die Sprecher waren grandios, die Emotionen und der Schmerz kamen wahnsinnig gut rüber. Die Story war sehr emotional, es geht um eine traumatisierende Erfahrung und den Weg aus der Verzweiflung hinaus.

I've read a few books by CH now, and none of them came even close to Verity. I guess I keep trying her books bc I was so blown away by Verity - so far, though, I'm not hooked.

Ugly Love really is your garden-variety love story. Traumatized male, commitment-phobe, and the doormat-woman with the savior complex who falls for him despite everything.

I guess you could say it's an epic love story but that's also what makes it boring. You can guess how it ends, all wrapped-up neatly with a bow.

If you're in the mood for melodrama and some well-crafted sex scenes, try this one. The characters are all relatable, and the narrators do an excellent job in giving them voices!

Die Sprecher waren grandios und man hatte das Gefühl sie fühlen mit, leiden mit, lieben mit. Man hätte keine besseren Sprecher finden können. Alles in allem war es perfekt. Die Story hat mir den Atem geraubt. Man fühlt und empfindet mit und alles ist einfach unglaublich intensiv. Beautiful.
