I cried so much, it broke my heart. I almost don't reccommend it because it will have you questioning everything. But seriously it's a must read.

Die ersten 20 Minuten und die letzten 40 konnte ich nicht aufhören zu weinen… Ich werde eine Weile lang an dieses Buch denken. Definitiv empfehlenswert.

After this book was hugely recommended on social media, I finally got it and only finished it today. Its a beautiful but heart wrenching story about love, family, tragedy, faith and trust.
its beautifully written and I especially enjoyed the narrators.
The only slightly negative part is Ella's fixation on the whole lie subject. Sometimes its just too much and you kind of wish she would just let it go... but apart from that I loved every minute of this book. I laughed, I cried, I gasped and then cried again. A lot! But it was all worth it. Brilliant book. would recommend 100 percent!!!

Ik vond het zo geweldig dat ik het boek binnen drie dagen had uitgelezen. De personages voelen levensecht aan en het verhaal raakt je diep, vooral door de combinatie van liefde, verlies en hoop
