Was wäre für andere Hörer sonst noch hilfreich zu wissen, um das Hörbuch richtig einschätzen zu können?
Hauptcharakter: Zur Individualisierung werden hier mehrere starke allergische Leiden und eine vegane Ernäherung herangezogen. Allergien und Verganismus ersetzen allerdings keine Persönlichkeit. Im Kopf des Mädchens scheint ein komplettes Vakuum zu herrschen.Romanze: Den männlichen Hauptcharakter kennt man auch schon. Erst hat er einen ganz emotionalen Grund das Mädchen zu hassen (und zwar dieser, dass er sie eigentlich liebt), spielt aber recht schnell den aufopferungsvollen Ritter. Er spielt - auch ganz klassisch - eine Weile erst mal "hard to get" während er in Wirklichkeit Alles nur für sie tut. Gähhn. Dieser Charakter ist noch flacher als die Hauptperson, welche wenigstens eine kuriose Krankheitsgeschichte vorweisen kann.
Naturwissenschaften: Ich rate davon ab, den wissenschaftlichen Teil dieses Buches zu überschätzen. Niemand der mehr als eine Grundschulbildung aufweisen kann, wird hier Neues erfahren. Interessant hätte die imaginäre Parallele zwischen Wissenschaft und Magie sein können. In der Umsetzung kam die Autorin aber nie über diese eine Anfangsidee hinaus. Leider.
Alles normale chick lit eben. Ich habe viel zu Viel erwartet.
