As a fan of the Dragons of Pern Saga from a young age, I wanted to listen to the audio title while working. I always wondered how the characters would be brought to life by a narrator and I liked it very much except for Ruth. He sounded like an entitled whiny cat, not like a dragon. I always thought of Ruth had a rather deep voice more reassuring and calm. But all in all it was well narrated.

Ich liebe die Geschichten rund um Pern. Habe alle Bücher immer wieder auf deutsch gelesen und jetzt nebenbei auf Englisch gehört. Der Sprecher ist super und gibt jedem Charakter eine eigene Stimme. Das ist bei so vielen verschiedenen Personen und Drachen wirklich bemerkenswert. Nur die Stimme von Ruth hat nich anfangs irritiert. Die passte nicht in meine Vorstellung jedoch habe ich mich daran gewöhnt und dann war es halt seine Stimme.
Toll gelesen. Die Geschwindigkeit kann man ja individuell einstellen. Bei 90% war es für mich super.
