A solid 4.5 stars 😭💕!!!!!
Oh my, oh my… what a friendship! What a love story! What an ending! What a book!
Look, the worldbuilding is lacking, the pacing is terribly uneven, and there are some seriously half-baked concepts. But I really, really, really loved the love story. The main world idea was fascinating, and every single character (even the side characters) had such distinctive personalities and they actually mattered to the story. And oh, Chapter 39? Absolutely breathtaking. My heart shattered into a million pieces and then came back to life, racing, all within the span of those pages. SUCH a beautiful story!
Now… the fantasy world. It needed to be fleshed out more. The concept was intriguing, but I kept wanting more details. It felt unfinished, rushed, or half-baked, and I found myself wishing for just a little more depth to fully sink into it.

Unexpected treasure
What I love in a story is empathic and interesting characters. I fell in love with the protagonists and even the side characters where pleasant and adorable. I enjoyed the story, there really was everything I could have asked for. I am grateful to have found this treasure
