"Every day, in real life, the good guys win," writes Stephen King in his intro to The Bachman Books, and now seems to be as good a time as any to be reminded of that. The Running Man is a classic, published in 1982, that year of great American dystopias, and like Blade Runner, it holds up well. Highly recommended for re-discovery.
