Nice, entertaining, stimulating and fun
The book is written as a magical realism piece with all the suspense, sophistication and wit these kinds of books bring. Underneath however is a bunch of life lessons and teachings about music I found really interesting and useful. As a person who is in a process of learning music, the observations and lessons in the book made me not only more aware of certain things, but also, I think, I became a bit better listener by reading this piece. I liked it a lot. On the other hand, reader should not expect any intellectually heavy explanations. The author simply puts a finger on something what is clearly important in music, brings it in connection with life in general and then creates a fictional narrative around it without any attempt at a heavy rationalisation, or analytical discourse. I think this way the book achieves what it set out to do and besides that it is also entertaining. Finally, I really liked the production: great narrators, good background music and sounds. Overall, nice and enjoyable.

fantastic
A real masterpiece! Funny, deep, entertaining. It makes you see life and music with different eyes. I can wait to listen to the other books of the author

My absolute favorite
it surprised me gladly, not only it's spoken from Victor Wooten himself, also the music and atmosphere he created makes, along with a wonderful story, easily the best audiobook in the world so far. This is not an audiobook, it's a whole spiritual and intellectual experience. Thank you Victor, Thanks to everyone involved in creating such an amazing work of art. Thank you.

Wunderschön ❣️
Ein wunderbares Hörbuch - berührend, erhellend, inspirierend. Die Stimme des Autors trägt einen auf sehr angenehme Weise durch seine Geschichte. Dieses Buch öffnet das Herz für die Musik. Ganz gleich, ob Ihr Euch für einen guten oder nicht so guten Musiker haltet - wichtig ist, dass Ihr die Musik liebt und fühlt.
