Could not finish, the voices are awful
Can’t say much about the story though I guess it’s nothing new - an older and a younger character meet by some coincidence and find kindred spirits or some such.
I had to stop an hour into the audiobook however because the narrator performing Soline‘s part was so annoying it made my teeth hurt. Seriously? Why would a French woman speaking in her mother tongue have an accent? And a bad one at that? I guess the narrator had to follow the directions given but for me this killed any joy in the story.
