Mal, who did the right thing and got cursed for it. I totally understand from where he started their joined journey. And what a journey it was.
Mal reminded me a lot of Scarlet O'Hara with his tendency to postpone thinking about things.
Their assumptions nearly drove me crazy at times - what is it whith these people?!

I love Joel Leslie and the personalities his voices give to the characters.

Die Handlung plätschert gefühlt nur vor sich hin und wirkt auf mich seltsam zusammen konstruiert. Gespräche werden einfach vermeiden, nur um die Handlung voran zu bringen. Ich hatte mich gefreut, mehr von der Reihe zu hören, aber für mich hat dieser Titel sich nicht wirklich gut dem ersten Band angeschlossen, was sehr schade ist.
Das ist mein drittes Buch der Autorin und das erste das mich enttäuscht hat. Ich werde es trotzdem nochmal mit einem alternativen Titel von E. J. Russell versuchen.
