I read the first of the devils book series - I like that they have two narrators here so you get a glimpse of each side of the main two characters. It was a slow burn but never boring - an easy “read” - the only thing- with most books though… once the couple gets together it kinda always stos abruptly. However with both the books it felt even more so. More with the first one than this one. I do listen to my audio books with 1.8 oder 2.0 speed but still… I feel like another 5 minutes to let the couple breathe and give us readers/listeners a glimpse of the daily life would go a long way :)

The built up was quite enjoyable
