One thing I found innovative and wickedly smart was the use of the poem throughout the books. As such, having the entire poem as the closing end felt satisfying. I still hope that we will see more booksand stories of the nothingmage. Will there be more?

character development is one thing, anti heroes another, but this is just crazy. one day crying because he is wronged as a bad person and the next day murdering a whole species of innocent people, than his best friends and again trying to justify.
50% the same repeating inner monologues and not much story.

The latter half of the story was poorly executed and lazily written. It is obvious that the author disliked his work.
I regret having wasted time in this book.
