Allein das Kapitel über Schlaf macht das Hörbuch schon lohnend.

Strogatz stellt Phänomene spontaner Ordnung in der Natur anschaulich und ohne Mathematik dar. Dies geht über biologische Rhytmen wie den Schlaf-Wach-Rhytmus über Anwendungen wie Laser bis zu Fragen nach der Erstehung von Bewusstsein.

Wer von Fragen wie „Was ist Leben?“ oder „Wie entsteht Ordnung in der Natur?“ fasziniert ist, dem hat das Buch viel zu geben.

Der Einstieg ist auch ohne Mathematik nicht ganz ohne. Aber es lohnt sich am Ball zu bleiben!
