Was hesistant at first as I saw someone else would read it now in comparison to the last fourth books. Not a problem at all though! Fine reader with different voices for the persons that came into play and the story is sooo good, but also very sad at many times. Be sure to get this. You will not regret it. Ps. Totally did not expect some quotes of The Raven in there, but what a brilliant idea!

I absolutely love the Hunger Games books, they are just on a different level to the movies. If you like the other books, you can't go wrong with this one. I also love the reading by Jefferson White, I couldn't stop listening.

Suzanne Collins‘ ability to envelope the reader into the story forcing one to feel with her characters on a level so profound, that one’s heart rate rises and falls with the protagonist is unmatched. I applaud her for giving us once again a story, perfectly fitting within her universe, that is not only utterly horrific but also entirely believable. Her giving Haymitch this deep and atrocious backstory fills the universe of her story with so much more depth.
The reader also did a great job in portraying young Haymitch, I could perfectly imagine every single word, seeing the story as a movie on my inner eye.

Fantastic book, but i don’t think i will watch the movie when it comes out. This one definitely broke my heart, especially because Haymitch is my fav character. Snow is an absolute menace.

This book was so good. The voice was amazing, I could believe Haymitch himslef was telling his story.
It was everything we love about Collins' books, heartbreaking, passionate, brutal, intense, it had twists and surprises, I loved every moment of it. Amazing book and amazing reading.
