Dieses Buch ist genau Perfekt für dieses Jahreszeit und da ich schon lange ein Buch von der Autorin lesen wollte und da kam das Buch genau richtig. Wir folgen mehrere Charakter Perspektiven die alle in der Insel leben und als August endlich wieder nach 14 Jahren zurück kommt wird endlich alles aufgeklärt was damals passiert ist. Dieses Buch hat mich überrascht ich mochte die Atmosphäre und das Setting im Buch und sowohl die Dunkle Aura die immer wieder auftaucht in der Insel. Emery war ein Interessanter Charakter wo ich mochte auch wenn ich mir gewünscht hätte sie würde mehr die Kornfrontion suchen statt davor weg zu laufen. Aber ansonsten mochte ich sie ziemlich gerne. August fand ich auch gut und besonders war es Interessant zu sehen wie er wieder zu Insel zurückkehrt. Die Geschichte mochte ich es hat langsam angefangen wir haben die Insel und ihre Bewohner kennengelernt und bekommen immer wieder Einblicke in die Vergangenheit was vor 14 Jahren passiert ist. Es hatte was spannendes und magisches an sich da diese Insel egal wo du bist immer einen verfolgen wird und dann auch noch die ganzen Geheimnisse die sich langsam lüften. Besonders die zweite Hälfte des Buches um einiges spannende rund einiges habe ich bereits erraten aber dennoch war ich überrascht was nun jetzt wirklich gesehen ist. Im ganzen mochte dieses Buch und mochte auch das es erst langsam angefangen hat und dann immer spannender wurde und sich alles auflöst. Außerdem mochte ich die Liebesgeschichte und die Insel fand ich wirklich Interessant und es hat mir Saß gemacht es als Hörbuch zuhören besonders weil man auch verschieden Hör Stimmen bekommen hat.

Mir persönlich gefällt die Geschichte sehr gut. Die Autorin hat es meiner Meinung nach geschafft Magie in Moderne zu weben. Auf eine Art und Weise, die sich nahtlos mit dem Hintergrundbild einer Insel und deren Folklore verbindet.
