Unfortunately I'm not that much of an intrigue enjoyer where everyone betrays everyone. I like intrigue somewhat when the protagonist knows what they are doing but our protagonist in this one is pretty blind to all the obvious things that she should have seen from miles away especially when she is portrayed as a cunning one.
If you like this kind of thing it's a good story although the triangle romance thing was more a weird side product that didn't really work that well the environment was nicely crafted and I liked the setting.

the speaker tries her best to make it clear to the listener when someone is thinking and when they actually talk. she does the job quite well still it's not always clear. it's not her fault it's about the way the book is written. As a whole the book is really good and plays around with your emotions making you guess who to trust and who not to

I was a bit sceptical at first since the series is all over book-Tok but I must say I loved this story and understand why it's loved. I listened to the audiobook in one sitting and immediately ordererd the whole series. The characters had the chance to develop and the story has some suprising turning points. For those who loved the Hunger Games this will be a welcome new book series.

the premise and world are so good, but I feel like this should have been at least two books. Some parts felt... very rushed and I hate to say it but the "love" feels like readjng fanfiction. Really wanted to love the book but it felt so flat for me! Great voice actress, though! Well read.

No satisfying payoff

Good premise, okay but pretty flat Characters. Weak Plott with very expected twist (because hinted at many many times), which doesent even make a lot of sense despite that.
A lot of Storytelling in which the Author tells you what to think rather than showing you. A million repeated lines of self Pity dont make you sympathize with the Protagonist more or make any of it more Tragic. Overall its decently entertaining but feels like its written by a beginner. Which it probably is so no offense intended.
