Der Beginn fiel mir etwas schwer, aber dranbleiben hat sich definitiv gelohnt! Spannende Charaktere und interessantes Setting. Bin nun bei Teil 2 :)

Die Geschichte ist fantastisch und enorm gut geschrieben - auch sehr unterhaltsam. die Sprecherin ist auch richtig gut, eine der besten, die ich bisher auf audible gehört habe!

love it! there is spirit and personality in every person along the way. you can hear it multiple times cause maxbe you missed something the first time ;)


cant say much more. It's brilliant, funny, honest, creative, and not one of those standart romanze. it has its own way tellimg you there might be a romanze but thats a sideroad, and when you have a better picture you can't but laugh like a child XD

I’ve only recently discover Naomi Novik and love everyone of her stories! It’s amazing how much detail and creativity you can find in her stories! And this one is sassy and fantastical, a great and fun read. Anisha Dadia is amazing in how she creates so many different characters and portraits the character of each and everyone of them so fittingly in just the right tone of her voice. Love it.

A unique combination of wizard school and battle royal young adult books. A young magic girl goes to a magic school run by social media algorithms that has gone bad (and no adults or teachers), and as a result everything in the magic school tries to kill the students, and she must survive all the monsters and her fellow students.

The first few hours come off a bit too whiny and the protagonist too weak or unreliable, but it gets better later.

Absolutely amazingly read and written, went through it in a couple of days and now I‘m too sad to think about it. Can‘t wait for the second book to come out in autumn!

Imagine the hunger games taking place at a Hogwarts without teachers. Great premise and great reading voice. I personally enjoy the constant inner monologue und sarcastic attitude of the protagonist. Even though 50% of the book is Al going off tangents, the overall explaining she does is, in my opinion, great to immerse yourself in her way of thinking, as well as the world around her.

Worth listening to!
