The voice is even and well paced bit at times feels a little too indifferent. The story, at times, feels rather inconsequential but in the end a few patterns emerge that show core developments of Primarch and legion. More subtle than I expected from Iron Hands.

Some of the primarchs books seem to have one flaw. The customer expects the Primarchs I. The focus.
The book does it, but in the very end.
So I am not sure what to think of the whole book In general.
I would say it’s definitely a recommendation for Iron hands fans.
But maybe BL should have thought about naming the books maybe „tales from
The great crusade“ and all I read would have gotten 5 stars
