Interesting insights into platform business models - but somewhat lengthy and unstructured in the second part
I mostly enjoyed the book and the overall reading performance was well done.
Especially the first chapters offer very helpful and easy to understand introduction to what platform businesses are, how they operate and where the differences to existing "pipeline" businesses are. The book then continues along a number of less well structured chapters around strategy, competition, regulation etc. which offer, however, interesting examples of platform businesses.
The conclusion offers a nice outlook where platforms are bound to emerge - I would have liked a summary as well.

Wonderful book
If you are a founder or investor I really recommend to read / listen to this book as it's offering useful details about building and scaling platforms and their way of changing our world.
Thank you for your writing this book. Hopefully we'll meet some day and talk on similar subjects.

Now I know what a plattform is
A Plattform is a infrastructure where producers and consumers meet. Examples on the online world: youtube, facebook, ebay, skillshare, etc
This book gives you a good understanding of what a plattform is and explains it's dynamics.
The book is dense and sometimes hard to follow. Me as a none english native, I had to hear it 2 times.
I highly recommend this book for those who want to understand how internet businesses work and for those who are thinking of doing something themselves.

To many reputations
Chapters are to long. I expected more of a fact book than a novel. Speaking is quite monotone.
