just great. understandable and enjoyable
the lecture lays out the whole history of particle physics. this approach makes it easy to follow and helps to understand the connections and the build up of the "standard model"
besides that: You can hear to Mr. Pollock for hours. I wonder if he is as likable as he sounds. It just seems not possible

Excellent survey for physicists
Steven Pollock has the ability to tell the story of the universe from the perspective of particle physics. Without mathematics he connected some of my loose ends concerning the electroweak interaction and the Higgs field.
