I saw this book in a bookstore and was intrigued, so I used my audible credit to buy it right when I got home. I was obsessed!! This is the first novel I fully listened to in a while, the speakers were so pleasant and I enjoyed the switch off between them. The story is very sweet and not cookie cutter and has made my commute much sweeter!

The narrators were good but the story was very slow from time to time. The story was nice to listen to but that’s it. Did not really catch me.

Obviously this is a sweet and fluffy romcom which takes a long time to get to the happy end, but it’s a good one of its kind. The heroine is smart, she has friends and a job, and she falls for the guy because of his witty lines and sensitive nature (next to well-trained arms and jawline). No cave man behavior etc. Told from multiple perspectives, all well read. The book is about the two of them almost meeting for a long time, and we experience them together only for me last 20min or so.

Nette Geschichte, aber leider zieht sie sich wie ein Kaugummi. Am Anfang ist das Hin und Her zwischen den Protagonisten ja noch ganz interessant, aber nach 30 Kapiteln ist es anstrengend. Ich habe dann bis zum Schlusskapitel alles übersprungen und habe nicht das Gefühl, dass ich viel versäumt habe. Schade!
