Maybe it was my favorite because it was the end but I really enjoyed this series end. In my opinion this darker turn was still fitting well. Though I was bothered sometimes that you built up this tension and long hours of stories just to be explained or concluded quite easy and to fast. I mean so much tension for Alex story and then so quick and easy solved just because she got hurt. I would’ve expected and hoped for more story line for her. Same for Em and Will. I was hoping for more story before some happy end for them but it was the same with all others before. Overall I loved this series and I’m going to listen to all of it again to double check some parts. :D

I loved Wills and Emmys story so much! It was wild, intense and loving. And not as dark as the other ones. Will is just great and Emmys Character is funny and strong. I love that she doesn’t need any saving and she learns how to stand up for herself. Absolutely YES for this book!

I think the readers were okay, not my favorite though, the continued change of voices for the other characters by the male reader for the other characters wasn’t my favorite, the female reader isn’t also my favorite, it sounded like a robot to me but it was okay, the story line is what kept me hooked, Penelope did such a great job writing this book, it feels like she put more effort into this one than the rest in my opinion, I didn’t think I’d love this book much but I was proven wrong, they both have their valid reasons to act the way they act, in my opinion. Will loves Emmy so much it’s just so beautiful.

The story line was the most interesting part for me.

Will was my favourite character after Damon and I love the relationship these two have. I expected a lot from this book after Kill Switch but I was kind of disappointed. Will is suddenly portrayed as dark and broody, which fit Damon well but feels off with Will. His character development is boring.
Emory is my least favourite female character. I think I don't understand her. Everything she does seems off and their weird love/hate relationship gets boring real fast. Especially when you know WHY they hate eachother. It does not really make any sense compared to the love/hate dynamic of Damon&Winter.
As for the story overall it has a lot of nice parts and plot twist and smutty scenes.
After Punk 57 I started the Devil's Night series and it went crescendo from Rika&Michael to Kay&Banks and after the smutty masterpiece that is Kill Switch I hoped this one would get even better. I had high hopes and was a bit disappointed, confused at times. It's still worth to listen to the story, again: i just had very high hopes.
