The storytelling left me gasping for air with each new word. The writing is beyond amazing not to mention the performance of the narators who truly brought the story to life... In one simple word: masterpiece

The storyline was beyond great! Instantly hooked! The Writing, the voice acting and occasional background noise! It’s everything! Felt so bad for her house ghost but I’ve laughed as much as I gasped and smiled. Totally recommend this Masterpiece.

This was such a beautiful book!! Holy fudge. The way the story grips you, the narrators‘ every intonation, and the spice to top it off. Beautiful. Thank you to everyone that contributed into bringing this masterpiece into reality. Although the book is done, I can’t help but feel that the story isn’t. There’s still so much to tell. I just hope there will be a story for the other characters too, they deserve it!

This is one of the books you find yourself thinking and reflecting about all the time while listening, and even days after finishing it.

The production is outstanding! Great narrators with authenticity. Perfect comedy timing. The immersive soundscape intensifies the experience even more. I need more cat purring in my audiobooks!

Ganz tolle Geschichte, sehr hochwertige Aufnahme. Habe viel gelacht und auch mal ein Tränchen verdrückt. Die Sprecher waren mega!

I didn’t expect this story to be so.. raw and beautiful. I didn’t expect to fall for those characters. I didn’t expect the performance of all of those wonderful narrators to hit home. Joe narrating Kane felt like he wrote a character he wanted to voice for a long time. Don’t know if that true, but it felt like it.

This is such a beautiful story on life and death and of course how through love all is possible. But not in your typical romance fluffy way. Of course I knew from the beginning Rue and Kane would fall for each other. But the way they did was so magical, so pure and beautiful. I loved how DJ and Joe could incorporate so many jokes into such a heavy story and make it light. I loved all of them. Especially Big D.

The writing style was grown up, it didn’t felt forced, it felt experienced. Even thy spice felt like I was eating a 10 course luxury meal. Amazing job DJ and Joe and to all voice actors ♥️

I hope there will be another book from you two :)

I had a real good time listening to this audiobook. Loved the charakters and there Story. This Story was an emotional rollercoaster and in my option an 5* romcom
The narrator team did an amazing Job by bringing these characters to life....had so much fun listening.

Okay so the Performance of every single cast member was absolutely PHENOMENAL! This audiobook is on a cinematic level, similar to the Graphic Audio product landscape.
Special Shoutout to Andi Eloise, who is the reason for me getting this book. Her performance stood out even amongst her truly brilliant cast mates.
I did have some issues with the story and would like to give a heads up that this book was more heart-wrenching and at times brutal than I expected it to be. Make sure you read the content warnings and descriptions carefully so you know what you're getting into.
But it was absolutely worth listening to!
