I couldn’t take the readers voices and the beginning of the story. The characters were so boring. I couldn’t go past the first few chapters. And I really liked Rinas other books!

An sich ist es gut geschrieben, aber bei Kapitel 6 hätte definitiv eine deutliche trigger Warnung aufgeführt werden sollen, weil die Protoganisten quasi genötigt wurde S** zu haben und das sollte nicht in dem Rahmen verherrlicht werden. Ich mag die Rina Kent Bücher sehr gerne, sind bis jetzt gut geschrieben aber diesen Aspekt hätte man anders schreiben sollen. Auch bei Dark Romance sollte es Grenzen oder richtig aufgeführte Warnungen geben.

Usually, I always feel drawn towards the male characters in dark Romance books, but for some reason this one didn’t do anything to me. Sometimes I had a bit of a hard time hearing or understanding the male speaker properly, because his voice was so deep and vibrating, which was a bit disturbing because I had to properly concentrate to not miss anything.

I really enjoyed this one and honestly kind of binged it because I just didn’t want to stop listening. The enemies-to-lovers trope was so much fun and kept things interesting the whole time. I also liked that it felt a bit different from a lot of the usual hockey-team romances, which was really refreshing.

But what I loved the most were the narrators. Their voices were amazing and exactly what you hope for in an audiobook. They made the characters feel really alive and the whole listening experience super enjoyable.
