Vow of Deception is such an intense and captivating thrill ride and oh my god the steam. It's so sexy, hot, and intense and completely left me wanting more.
I have been intrigued by Adrian´s character since the Throne Duet as he seemed like an interesting and complicated one and oh boy isn´t he just.
Adrian is a high ranked member of the Russian Mafia, he is commanding, strict & ruthless. He is quite the dominating alpha hole who does not take kindly to defiance.
Winter struggling with old demons, homeless and living on the streets is taken by force by Adrian´s men to fill the shoes of his dead wife. She is given a choice by Adrian, plays the part or go to prison and she decides to play wife.
Winter is struggling to play the part, is defiant and does not obey Adrian´s rules which gets her into quite some trouble, punishing steamy ones indeed.
Winter also has dreams that haunt her, and they seem so real that she starts to struggle to distinguish between nightmare and reality.
I was engrossed in the storyline, it’s so intriguing, so many secrets and you want to keep going and know what is happening but kept left guessing. Really cannot wait for part II to arrive.
Jason Clarke and Desiree Ketchum narrated this one and I loved them. There are accents and we all love accents. Here you get a taste of Italian and Russian. I do enjoy Jason´s narration anyway and he played the domineering Adrian so well, still adore his female voice too, one of THE best. Its only the second time I have listened to Desiree and I freaking love her, she definitely is added to the list of faves. Her male voice imitation is just perfect, specially with those accents.
