FMC was beautiful, as an able bodied person, I loved the perspective of a woman with a disability, reading about her struggles and how strong she was.
I really enjoyed their banter and relationship overall.
Didn’t enjoy the third act so much bc it seemed a bit much but 🤷🏼♀️

This was much better than expected. However, the highlight of this story for me was Safiya and how truly sweet she is. Even though her life hasn’t been the easiest, it didn’t turn her bitter or gloomy. Matteo was a typical mafia MMC and my favorite shade of morally grey; he would indeed burn the world down for those he cares about.
The main thing that irritated me was his behavior when he thought my sweet Safiya betrayed him. The cruelty made it hard to continue. The groveling wasn’t enough in my eyes, mainly because Safiya is too sweet to hold a grudge against someone she loves. ALTHOUGH I WANTED TO SEE HIM SUFFER.
