Das Setting, die Dynamik der Charaktere und die Horrorelemente am Anfang des Buchs haben mir gut gefallen. Leider war es frustrierend, vergeblich darauf zu warten, dass die Hauptcharaktere endlich richtig mit einander sprechen oder sonst aktiv werden. Es ging immer nur weiter bergab und das Ende hat mich wirklich deprimiert. Der Autor hat eine sehr Verlustrechnung Zeit in seinem Leben als Inspiration genutzt. Es wäre trotzdem schön gewesen, wenn nicht alle so passiv geblieben wären und die Liebe der kleinen Familie irgendwas bewirkt hätte.
