Willow Taylor lives in a castle with large walls and iron fences. But this is no ordinary castle. It’s called Heartstone Psychiatric Hospital and it houses 40 other patients. It has nurses with mean faces and techs with permanent frowns.

With audio books the narrator makes or breaks the experience. Here, unfortunately, they broke it. The male narrator was great. But the female narrator chose a voice that was more fitting to an 80 year old lady in a rocking chair than that of a young woman.
Even more unfortunate, she did change her voice when narrating dialogue of other people, making it clear that the voice she adapted for Willow was entirely a choice, and a very bad one.
The book itself was very problematic.
