The first time I took a man's life, I knew there'd be no going back, no normal existence in the cards for me. Instead of walking away, I climbed a mountain of bodies and created my own destiny by forming The Alliance. And I was fine with that, content enough to carry on.

Until I stepped through those open doors, and into her life.

I should've walked away. Should've gone right back out the door I came through. But I didn't. And now her life is in danger. That's the thing about being a bad man. I'll happily paint the streets red to protect what's mine.

And Payton is mine. Whether she knows it or not.

I really loved the story and specialy that it didn’t took so long for them to hook up! Great story as well and i liked the voiced of the speakers

This was so good. I loved the story and the narrators! It's dark but lighthearted at he same time. And the characters are absolutely lovely!

The story was a typical mobster but inside he's a nice guy-plot. The male character was well written. As were the steamy scenes. It had just the right amount of suspense. And both narrators were very good.
The female character however was very bland and uninteresting, in my opinion.
all in all a good story.

The narrators were great, as we're the hot scenes.

I loved this book so much, it filled my heart with joy , such a good man, worshiping her, and the way she loves him in return… heart melting

If you’re into dark mafia romance with morally grey heroes, unhinged devotion, and just the right amount of spice, Men of the Alliance will absolutely deliver.

Right from the start, Nero throws you into a surreal, twisted, almost macabre world—but don’t be fooled. It’s not as far-fetched as it seems. This book leans hard into tropes like stalking, age gap, and murder, but what really stands out is Nero himself. He’s powerful, obsessive, and funny in the darkest possible way. His POV is one of the highlights—sometimes hilariously deranged, always compelling. He falls first, falls hard, and takes “protective” to terrifying new levels.

Then there’s Payton. Her character is painfully lonely—so much so that it physically hurts to read her story at times. She’s the kind of person life just keeps punching down, and you can’t help but root for her to catch even the smallest break.

The book is spicy, gritty, violent, and not for the faint of heart—but if you like your romance with blood on the floor and a knife to the throat (figuratively… or not), Men of the Alliance is addictive. Highly recommended for dark romance fans who love antiheroes with obsession issues and broken heroines with steel spines.

Bonus points: The narration by Jack Calihan and Chloe Ryan is phenomenal. They bring these characters to life perfectly.
