Nice paranormal rom-com that is entertaining and makes you curious more for a bit of world building that hopefully will come with the second book.

I will say, that I perhaps, am not the right audience for this book. On that note, the book portrays the male main character as toxic, possessive and obsessed. And I really struggled to find any of his stalking or controlling behavior endearing. The love aspect also overtook the whole story, and while I enjoyed smut, this was too much for me. Not that I thought it was too graphic, just that the main story suffered because the characters can only think of one thing: being horny.
But if you want to trauma dump on your friends afterwards. This book is for you.
