Would I recommend this book to someone who loves reading? No. It would probably be the last book on my mind when it comes to that. I guess the idea behind it, isn't too bad but I feel like that extra bit is missing to make it unforgettable. I think the word I am looking for is "mellow" to describe my feelings towards the book.

I wish that I would have tried another book to be honest, because I had an inkling quite early in the story already, what the end game was going to be...and that to me, is not a good story. maybe I have read too many thrillers already but *sigh*...

So I am not going to write a long review because personally, I prefer it short and sweet. If you have read books like "Girl on the train" or Stephen King's newest book than don't bother reading this unless your a big fan or have no reading experience at all. maybe it'll blow you away if you're a first time reader. 😉 But it just didn't do it for me although I did like the character Sophie quite a bit.

The biggest downside to this audiobook is the speaker of Sophie: mumbly with some sort of lisp and muddy pronunciation with rushed speech. It was not enjoyable and exhausting to listen to these parts of the book.

The story itself was ok enough for some light reading material in this genre.
The pace of story telling could have been a bit more speedy though and none of the characters made me particularly invested in them.
