We've waited so long for a new Tess Gerritsen book and now we even get a new Rizzoli and Isles- story - yay! It's gripping as always, I was at the edge of my seat until the very end. Being back in the lives of Jane and Maura and their families felt a bit like coming home. This time we even get a side story for Angela, Janes' mom, and it was so refreshing, because we never got to know the real Angie before, did we! I certainly like her now. Go Rizzoli girls!! I'm just sad that it's over way too soon (it's only what, 8 hours?!). Tanya Eby is by far my favourite reader for Tess' books, so I'm very glad she's back at it. She did a fantastic job, I just thought she was a bit too fast at times.

Interesting mystery if a bit scattered around. Rizzoli was great as always, but I wanted more of Morra. The parts with Angela were a real slog to get through, it felt like she took up most of this book and not in a good way. One of the weaker entries in this series.

Irgendwie für mich kaum vorstellbar, daß der "The Surgeon" und "Listen to me" von der gleichen Autorin sind. Dieses Buch ist extrem langweilig, langatmig und nach so der Hälfte wußte ich auf was das Ganze rausläuft. Und Mama Rizzoli ist hier so dermaßen nervtötend, daß ich das Buch wg. ihr fast schon beendet hätte. Ich denk ich streich Tess Gerritson nun entgültig von meiner Autorenliste, denn dies hier ist alles aber kein Thriller.
